swinging good times!

Zoey

great brotherly times!

Sarah 6 month

At six months old, Sarah is now 14 pounds and 1.5 oz. She is 25 inches long. She is good at rolling both ways now and can move across the room in an inch worm fashion with quite a bit of speed to get something that she wants. She also turns around quickly so when you think you have put her down and cleared the things away from in front of her, she will turn around and get something else. I think her favorite thing is to get a hold of paper!

afternoon fun

We ate ice cream and played at the park.

Zoey says " I have a brain freeze!"

Lake Texoma

We went to Lake Texoma to swim and Uncle Rob met us there since it is relatively midway for us. The kids had lots of fun playing in the water. Uncle Robbie would throw them! It was a really nice lake to swim in and hope to back another day with Eric.

visiting Grandma

After camping we went to see Grandma. It was fun to see her but we hadn't showered in 4 days and it was nice to be headed back to our home later. We picked up the girls, Zoey and Mika, before we went home.

hot rod Stroller

There were lots of trails around the campsite that led to the road and to the lake. The kids pushed Sarah in the stroller all over these trails. It was quite a site to see them taking off on an adventure pushing her in her stroller. She loved it!

Exhausted!!!!

cooking

We didn't have a grill in our campsite, only a fire ring. Jessica cooked us bacon and french toast by setting her cast iron skillet directly on the charcoal. It was great.

camping playpen

For those rare times when Sarah was put down, we had a play tent for a playpen. It worked really well.

long walks

We took long walks at the lake.

Once I had the kids take their scooters since I had packed them all. The scooters we more difficult on the bumpy roads and mostly the scooters were dragged around. But when we got to the boat dock, the kids thought that would be a good idea to ride on it. I made them take them back up to the top. It was so pretty at the lake. God sure is an awesome creator.

swimming fun

swimming at the lake

We had fun swimming in the lake but it was a little cool. Sarah did not like it at all. She preferred playing with the grass from a towel. Her brothers gave her a 'massage' to help her fall asleep when she was tired.

Camping

We camped at Lake McMurtry with Jessica and the girls. We had fun cooking around a campfire, strumming on the girls guitars, collecting sea shells and lots of other camping activities.
