Honeylocust tree

I noticed that many of the little saplings growing along the edge of the yard had thorns. Then I found the source. It is a honeylocust tree, it grows thorns like spikes in groups of three. So in addition to the thorny vines and the poison oak that line our yard, the trees are out to get us too! We have been working hard this year to clean out our fence line.
