Fall Break

For homeschoolers, this fall break was really busy. We drove up to Ripley, had pizza and cupcakes with cousins for Liliana's birthday and watched my parents shampooing carpet at our house there. Amazing, the stains came out really well. Then we were off to the Guthrie football game. Guthrie won in overtime! After spending the night at Grandma's, we were back home to pack for the monster mash cub scout campout Friday night. We got there late and barely set up our tent before we hiked off for an evening of fun. They played with tennis balls and hula hoops in the dining hall, saw a hunted house, a spooky trail hike and a hay ride. Then we hiked back to our camp site and had a chilly good night. In the morning, breakfast, packing up tent and a hike and home. I stopped at both Amish stores looking for goats milk with out success.
