Sick cousins and camping at Grandmas

I love watching the kids wake up in the tent. Qorban and Christopher.
Caleb still trying to get a few min of sleep
Malachi is awake and ready for action.
                                  Christopher stretching his limbs.
Sarah eating ice from the cooler.
Liliana getting things ready for the new day.
Liliana loved the flowers growing by the side of the road.
Sonic lunch pinic at Grandmas was delightful.

Sarah is such a big girl. She is really pleased that she gets herself into the chairs.
We camped at Grandma and Grandpa Aldridge's place when we went up to help out our cousins who were not feeling well.  It was a really pretty place to camp and it was a lovely place to wake up next to their huge garden. Zoey had spent 9 hours in the ER and been admitted to the hospital Tuesday after having a high fever that they couldn't figure out. One of the tests that was done on Zoey was a spinal tap to see if she had meningitis. She had sever headaches from the spinal tap. She was discharged the next day with out a real diagnosis. We got there Wed evening and she was home with sever headaches. Mika had been diagnosis with conjunctivitis for an eye irritation. So we were there to help and hang out on Thursday. Julia was sent home from school with a 104 temp.  And Mika spiked a temp but both were able to be controlled somewhat with ibuprofen and both girls were energetic. Zoey continued to slowly improve. So by Friday afternoon, packed up our campsite and said goodbye. We were not gone yet when Jessica called to say that the results of Zoey's West Nile Virus had come back elevated and that she needed something done about her headaches. She was going to take Zoey and Julia back to the ER. So we returned to Ripley. Melissa fed all the kids supper and I put all the kids to bed. Late that night Jessica, Rob, Zoey and Julia returned to their home. The girls were diagnosis with mono. The doctor did not address Zoey's spinal tap possible leakage. The elevated response to West Nile Virus just meant that she had had West Nile and her body fought it off without issue.  Saturday, Zoey seemed better. Everyone seemed fairly stable as they now at least know what  caused the fevers. We finally returned home. I was wiped out.
